LEAK TREATMENT

Administrator - 2024-05-14

In construction projects such as tanks, elevator shafts, water pipes, tunnels, etc., water leakage often occurs due to the following reasons:

  • The construction quality at the expansion joints is not satisfactory, and the stop joints are not good, there are no Waterstop panels at the construction stop joints.
  • The concrete surface is porous
  • Pouring concrete into walls with large lengths without expansion joints, causing concrete cracking
  • Concrete pipes are sinking and cracking

METHODS OF IMPLEMENTATION

The processing process includes the following basic steps:

  • Survey the current status of water leaks to find the cause of the problem
  • Design construction methods
  • Approve construction methods
  • Done at construction site

CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF HIGH PRESSURE EXPANDING ADHESIVE PUMP:

Basic steps:

Step 1: Check and clean the leaking surface.

Step 2: Drill a hole at the leak point, place a water pipe horizontally to reduce water pressure at other leak locations (only use for strong leak points).

Step 3: Place the 1-way valve into the drilled hole and turn clockwise until the valve sticks tightly to the concrete.

Step 4: Blow away the dirt on the surface of the leak point to create the best conditions for injecting glue inside the leak point.

Step 5: Pump PU glue SL 668/SL 669 inside the crack using high pressure pump SL-500/.

Step 6: Cleaning: when the glue injection job is completed, after 1 hour, you can remove the one-way valves, flatten and clean the surface of the leak point.

APPLICATION

  • Handling water leaks in basements and hydroelectric power plants.
  • Handling water leaks at expansion joints - settlement joints.

Note: PU pumping technique - SL 668, SL 669 requires complexity as well as high processing experience in waterproof environments.
